According to experts, up to 1,000 deepfake videos are uploaded to porn sites every month. Thus, videos “featuring” famous actresses and singers appear on resources.
On the three largest platforms - XVideos, Xnxx, andxHamster - such videos have millions of views. Deepfake videos help sites make money by placing advertisements in them. One 30-second video of actress Emma Watson's face, for example, received more than 23 million views across three sites. In other deepfake videos you can see fake Natalie Portman, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, etc.
Experts say that porn sites themselves are notconsider the existence of such fake videos a problem. However, many users call deepfake videos offensive to the women portrayed in them.
