The world's most powerful video card RTX 3090 could not cope with the new Assassin's Creed at maximum speed

Information has appeared online about a rather strange situation, the participants of which were the most powerful in the world

RTX 3090 video card. The video adapter, which at NVIDIA’s own presentation was promoted as a solution for 8K gaming, failed to cope with the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at maximum speeds of 4K and 60 frames per second.

So, a YouTube blogger under the nickname GameGPU decidedCheck out how the latest NVIDIA graphics card behaves in the new product from Ubisoft. To do this, to the aid of the RTX 3090, the blogger assembled a computer based on an Intel Core i9 10900K processor. As a result, using the benchmark built into the game, GameGPU was faced with the fact that the average performance in the game hovers around 56 frames per second. Sometimes, however, there are more noticeable performance drops. Whether this problem will be solved by the release of fresh drivers for the RTX 3090, or everything will remain so until the end - is unknown.

As a reminder, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has not yet gone on sale. The release of the game is scheduled for November 10, 2020.
