Official: all Huawei devices will continue to receive updates and work on Android

Today we wrote about the fact that the temporary general license (Temporary General) has recently expired

And information appeared online that because of this, Huawei tablets and smartphones, even those released before the imposition of sanctions, may lose Android updates. Huawei made an official statement and dotted all the i’s on this issue.

Huawei emphasizes that it will continueprovide security updates and after-sales service to all smartphones and tablets that have been sold or are in stock around the world. All users, as before, will receive the necessary updates and security patches, and applications, including Google services, will continue to work. Your phone will work as usual when you travel between countries and during a reboot or factory reset.

In addition, all Huawei smartphones and tablets still run on the Android platform, and devices with Huawei Mobile Services still run on the open Android platform.
