Tesla's autopilot called fake

The European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) tests vehicles with technology

autopilot and driver assistance systems. Tesla's electric cars were in the middle of the organization's ranking. Experts said that it is not yet possible to call the company's system a real autopilot, but the manufacturer promotes cars with just such an advertisement.

Euro NCAP gave a rating of "Very Good" - orfour points to the Audi Q8, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz GLE. Ford Kuga received three points. Two - Nissan Juke, Volvo V60, Volkswagen Passat and Tesla Model 3. One point was given to Peugeot 2008 and Renault Clio.

Experts explained that the Tesla electric car showedgood results in tests for automatic emergency braking and collision avoidance. However, the company did not give a higher rating for the reason that it "sells" the capabilities of the autopilot, but the system of electric vehicles cannot be called that.
