Announcement Coming Soon: Google Sabrina TV Box Appears in FCC Database

For several months now, information has appeared on the network about the new Google TV box under

codenamed Sabrina, which will replace the Chromecast Ultra. And so the device appeared in the database of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

What is known

More specifically, Google has filed documents for two newdevices with model numbers GZRNL and G9N9N. The GZRNL supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and this is most likely the box itself. There is also a label on the site that will be placed on the back.

In turn, G9N9N only supportsBluetooth connection. It looks like this is a remote control for the console. Unfortunately, there is no more information: for confidentiality purposes, other certification data are hidden.

But this means that the official announcement of Google Sabrina is coming soon. Perhaps the console will be presented along with the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones on September 30.

Recall that Google Sabrina is credited with the Amlogic chipS905 × 2 which supports 4K, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision, along with an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Sabrina will operate under the Android TV operating system with an updated interface design.
