In iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 it will be possible to choose the default browser and email client

On the Apple website, in the sections on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, one very useful innovation is mentioned, which was not said

at yesterday’s WWDC presentation.

What are we talking about

It's about being able to use the defaultthird-party applications in the system. This applies so far only to the browser and the email client. Of course, now in iOS 13 you can use Chrome and Gmail as the main programs, but all the links still open in Safari and Mail.

Recall, iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 developers can already install. Public Beta builds will appear in July, and stable system releases are scheduled for fall.
