On August 12, Microsoft Corporation finally announced some details of its first dual-screen Surface Duo smartphone.

In particular, it became known that the device will go on sale on September 10 for $ 1399. Now the company has published a video showing the new product in working order.

At the beginning of the video, Microsoft Product DirectorPanos Panay said that when developing Surface Duo, the company was trying to implement a device that could be called “more than a smartphone”. He also noted that the smartphone is designed to work on the go.

In the video, the company demonstrated howthe smartphone runs applications that support an unusual form factor. Microsoft representatives drew attention to the Amazon Kindle, thanks to which you can view different pages on screens, like reading a book. The video also showed how exactly the company implemented the interaction between screens in the device.
