How to use the Easy Access feature on iPhone X

Initially, everyone thought that the Easy Access features on the iPhone X would not be at all. A curious phone solution,

whose screen is higher than the screen of the iPhone 8 Plus. However, the lack of a function would be logical due to the fact that there is no Home button on the new model. Now that the iPhone X has finally come out, we know for sure that Easy Access has remained in it. But the function needs to be enabled in Settings.

Below we’ll show you how to enable the Easy Access feature on iPhone X:



Step 1: Open Settingsand then go to Main -> Universal access.

Step 2: Find the option Convenient access and click on the switch next to it so that it turns green. [Note: If you don’t have this feature, install the latest available version of iOS 11.1.]

How to use Easy Access on iphone X

The new model does not have a Home button, and there are no 3D Touch taps or gestures associated with the Home indicator. Everything is done by swipe. To activate Easy Access, the indicator must be pulled down.



Step 1: Place your finger just above the Home indicator in the form of a white stripe.

Step 2: Swipe down.

When the system recognizes the gesture, the entire interface will go down and the top of the screen will remain blank.

How to open Control Center and Notification Center

The iPhone X is narrower than the iPhone 8 Plus, but slightly higher. Even if you have medium-sized hands, reaching your thumb up to the top of the screen will be quite difficult.

To make it more convenient and easier to open the Control Center and notifications, you can use the Easy Access function.

Step 1: Swipe down the Home indicator to activate the function.

Step 2: Swipe down on a blank part of the screen: 1. on the left - to open the Notification Center; 2. on the right - to open the Control Center.
