The Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications will create a single database of migrants

It is assumed that a unified database of foreign citizens will be created within the framework of the platform, and departments

will be able to exchange information with each other to provide foreigners with public services in electronic form

Migrants will be able to use the system througha mobile application with a personal account, access to it will be open even from the territory of another country, the newspaper notes. This will allow monitoring their movement across Russia, experts say.

The document notes that an interdepartmental working group will be organized to launch the system, the corresponding instruction was given by Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk at the end of July.

"Kommersant" notes that earlier the development of the platform was carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but now the creation has been delegated to the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, since the system should be integrated with the portal of State Services.
