The Russian authorities threatened to withdraw from the "graindeals” many times, so the decision was not a surprise. Today, July 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that "all ships going to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo."
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement thatall flag countries of such vessels will be considered parties to the "Ukrainian conflict" (war in Ukraine - ed.). Russia also declared "temporarily dangerous" sea areas in the southeastern and northwestern parts of the Black Sea. The decision takes effect on July 20 at 00:00 (EET).
