New app can scan a person in 3D

In3D is an accelerator participant Alchemist, the founders of the startup are Dmitry Ulyanov and Sergey Sherman. Today in the team

the project employs 9 people.

For now, the 3D scanning app is only available to Apple users.

The resulting 3D model can be exported to GTA Vor Second Life, make it move, for example, dance, use it as an element of augmented reality, or (suddenly) order jeans by your measurements.

Despite the relatively small range of services,in the future, this technology may have the widest application. For example, it will help with online shopping, make it possible to order clothes from tailors online, and make it possible to create new applications related to weight control and sports.
