The Coolpad Xview is based on a uniqueThe SoC is the first device on the market to feature a wearable chipset. In general, the gadget looks like ordinary sunglasses, but they found a place for an optical display and a camera with a 3mm lens. The characteristics of the screen are not disclosed (like many others), the manufacturer only noted that the contrast and color reproduction will be at the highest level. It is also known that the display supports Waveguide technology, roughly speaking, the user will be able to see a hologram in front of him. The glasses can work autonomously or together with a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Coolpad Xview has people recognition functionand objects, they can measure the surrounding space, search for information on the Internet and much more. There is also a consumer version of Coolpad Xview Smart Wearable AR Glasses, it is focused on simpler tasks: price comparison, orientation in the area, communication and other “standard” AR functions. All this works on the algorithms of the same single-chip system.
