Six FPV drones with a total cost of $2,100 destroyed Russian BMP-1, BMP-2 and BTR-82A worth almost $1 million

It’s been a long time since we wrote about how Ukrainian FPV drones costing several hundred dollars are destroying the Russian

armored vehicles, which cost the Russian budget hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. Let's fix this now.

What is known

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed three unitsRussian armored vehicles using cheap kamikaze drones. The targets of the FPV drones were Russian infantry fighting vehicles BMP-1 and BMP-2, as well as an armored personnel carrier BTR-82A.

@OSINTua posted a short video,demonstrating the elimination of only the BMP-2. He notes that three units of armored vehicles were abandoned by the Russians. It was important to destroy them in order to exclude the possibility of evacuation and repair with a subsequent return to the battlefield.

To defeat the armored vehicles of the Defense Forces of Ukraineused six FPV drones with a total cost of $2100. The destroyed BMP-1, BMP-2 and BTR-2A are estimated in total at almost $1 million. In simple words, every dollar invested in the purchase of drones paid off in full.
