Four sources told Reuters at once that Huawei plans to produce electric vehicles under its own brand. Moreover, some models may debut this year.
According to people familiar with the situation, the companyis allegedly in talks with state-owned Changan Automobile and other automakers to use their car factories to produce their electric vehicles.
According to rumors, the head of Huawei Consumer Business Group Richard Yu (Richard Yu) will be involved in the project, and electric vehicles will be aimed at the mass market segment.
