On June 22, 1996, the legendary game Quake was released. In this first-person shooter, the player takes on the role of

a nameless soldier whose military base was attacked by hordes of monsters generated by Shub-Niggurath.

The task was to go to enemy territory in another dimension and kill the boss. In total, the game had 28 levels, divided into four episodes.
