How to enable MacOS auto-update

  1. From the menu bar, selectbadgeApple, and thenSystem settings.
  2. Select panelSoftware Updateand then one of two options:

When a new system update becomes available,your Mac will find it automatically and install it right away. Most often this happens at night or when you are not using the device. You can still manually check for updates, but you don’t need to.
