The agency has now sent rescuers to the sitesplashdown of astronauts. NASA has already noted that the successful completion of the mission is “a new era for space exploration.” Now the agency will be able to order vehicles to send astronauts into space from private companies such as SpaceX. The government agency noted that they can send astronauts to the Moon and Mars more cheaply.

Earlier, SpaceX launched the first ship withastronauts to the ISS. If the launch is considered successful, it will allow the United States to send its missions without the help of Roscosmos. SpaceX is now the first privately held company to fly manned. The launch was successful the second time - on May 27, SpaceX postponed the flight due to bad weather.

On launch day, NASA also stated thatflight probability - 50%, bad weather could interfere with it. Nevertheless, the launch took place - Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken spent 19 hours in space before docking to the ISS. SpaceX has already reported that the launch vehicle that launched the astronauts into space has returned to Earth.
