According to Huawei CEO Richard YuYu), the company has developed a new technology that allows you to expand the amount of RAM by 2 GB. That is, 8 GB after virtual expansion turns into 10 GB, and 12 GB into 14 GB.

This is done using dynamic group compression, which combines flash memory and super memory to expand capacity.

The first to receive support for this technology wereflagships Huawei Mate 40. As a result, we managed to increase the average number of running applications by 50%. If the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with 8 GB of RAM stored an average of 11 applications in the cache, then the Mate 40 increased this figure to 16.6.

However, it is not yet clear whether this technology works only in Chinese versions or in global ones too, since this innovation was not mentioned during the presentation of the Mate 40 on the international market.
