A new system from the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been launched: it recognizes faces, silhouettes of people and cars

Andrey Telenkov, CEO of the Ntechlab development company, said that the new system is a platform

multi-object video analytics, which displays video streams in real time, recognizing the silhouettes of passers-by and cars.

The decision on silhouettes causes seriousthe interest of our clients, we have a lot of requests. There is already an application. I can say that it (the system - MZ) is used by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in five regions of Russia, and is also used abroad.

It is not specified in which five regions the system is used.

The system processes with high accuracy notonly information about images and even silhouettes of people, but also about cars - they can be recognized even from unclear videos in which the license plates are invisible, or only a small part of the car was captured in the lens. This way you can find out the color, brand and individual characteristics.

In addition, the new solution can trackthe trajectory of a person's movement, counting people and looking for people by their silhouettes, and the capabilities of the algorithms make it possible to determine silhouettes with very high accuracy. The analysis will take into account, for example, gait or height, as well as other distinctive features: glasses, hat, beard.
