Amazfit T-Rex - “smart watch” with military standard protection for $ 140 introduced

As promised, Amazfit introduced the T-Rex protected smartwatch as part of CES 2020.

A standard set, but the watch is stronger than it seems. According to the company, Amazfit T-Rex passed 12 tests in accordance with the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810G. So the gadget withstands extreme temperatures, from -40 ℃ to + 70 ℃, got a shockproof case and is resistant to corrosion.

Inside the watch fit an optical sensorpalpitations, a three-axis accelerometer, as well as a geomagnetic sensor and an ambient light sensor. Amazfit T-Rex “communicates” with the outside world and other devices via Bluetooth 5.0 LE and GPS + GLONASS. In addition, the watch is compatible with Android 5.0 and higher, as well as iOS, starting from version 10.0. Amazfit T-Rex live up to 20 days thanks to a 390 mAh battery.

Amazfit T-Rex will be available in black, gray, camouflage and green with a price tag of $ 140. The gadget is already available in China, and will be selected outside the country by the end of January.
