Amazon has unveiled its top-of-the-line tablet model, the Amazon Fire Max 11. It's its largest to date.

Fire Max 11 features an eight-core processorwith a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB storage. Amazon does not specify the specific type of processor, but states that the new product is 50% more powerful than the previous model. The tablet also has good battery life: one battery charge lasts up to 14 hours.

Amazon Fire Max 11 gets an 11-inch displaywith a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, two 8 MP cameras, a fingerprint scanner and an aluminum body. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the thin but durable body, the tablet is three times stronger than the iPad 10.9.

Amazon is also releasing a selection of accessories for the tablet, such as a magnetic keyboard and a stylus.

Deliveries of Fire Max 11 should begin in June, but the new product can already be ordered on the official website for $229.99.
