OPPO held a presentation of the Reno 8 series, a new generation of designer smartphones. In total there were three
OPPO Reno 8 Plus
The crown of the line is the Reno 8 Pro+, which stands outultra-thin display bezels and the most advanced filling. It is based on the Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset paired with a MariSilicon X image processor, and the display is represented by a 120Hz 6.7″ AMOLED panel from BOE, in the center of which is a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus.
OPPO Reno 8 Plus
No less interesting solution is Reno 8 Pro,the first in the world to receive a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset - and also paired with MariSilicon X. Another difference from the top model was a 6.62″ AMOLED screen manufactured by Samsung with slightly more noticeable frames. But the set of cameras for the “firmware” is the same: 50-megapixel main (IMX766), 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel B / W stub.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro
The basic OPPO Reno 8 has been simplified in terms of cameras, having lost the 8-megapixel width in favor of a 2-megapixel macro plug, as well as additionally increasing the on-screen frames: because of them, with almost the same dimensions, the device is already equipped with a 6.43″ AMOLED screen with a frequency of 90 Hz. The chipset was the fresh Dimensity 1300. But in terms of front cameras and power supply, all three new items are the same: 32-megapixel IMX709 and 4500 mAh with 80 watts.
Oppo Reno 8
On the shelves of Chinese stores Reno 8 and Reno 8The Pro+ will ship on June 1st, while the Reno 8 Pro will have to wait until June 11th. Each model will be offered in configurations of 8/256 and 12/256 GB of memory, and the two younger ones also with 8/128 GB. The colors are shown below, and the price tags start at 2499 yuan and end at 3999 yuan (see table for details). It is curious that the upper price threshold for the Reno 7 series has not increased.
