Apple released watchOS 2.0.1, with improved battery performance and more

Following the release of iOS 9.1 for iPhone, iPad, along with OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 for Mac computers, Apple also introduced

watchOS 2.0.1 update for Apple Watch.

On October 21, Apple released watchOS 2.0.1. The watchOS 2 release is available for public installation. First of all, this update should improve battery life and speed up the process of updating applications.

  • Fixed a bug that could lead to stops when downloading software updates;
  • Fixed bugs affecting battery performance;
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the managed iPhone from syncing with iOS Calendar events on the Apple Watch;
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent the correct updating of geolocation information;
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Digital Touch to be sent from an email address rather than from a phone number;
  • Fixed a bug that could lead to unstable operation when using Live Photo as a clock for the dial;
  • Fixed an issue that allowed sensors to stay on for an unlimited amount of time when using Siri to measure heart rate.
