Apple unveils M1 - proprietary ARM processor for Mac computers

Apple is today the third fall presentation this year, which debuted the first computer

M1 has the highest performance onwatt of power consumption, the world's fastest integrated graphics for a personal computer, and revolutionary machine learning performance with the Apple Neural Engine. As a result, the M1 delivers up to 3.5x faster processor performance, up to 6x faster GPU performance, and up to 15x faster machine learning, while delivering up to 2x longer battery life than previous generation Macs.

In addition, with the new chip, the system wakes up from sleep mode as quickly as smartphones and tablets.

According to company representatives, theyhave optimized all of their third-party apps to take advantage of the M1, significantly improving performance across the board. Developers will receive the necessary tools to create and optimize applications for both platforms - Apple Silicon and Intel.

The first devices to use the Apple M1 were the MacBook Air 2020, Mac Mini 2020, and MacBook Pro 13 Pro 2020.
