Apple Watch saved the life of a young Indian: he could have died due to blockage of the coronary artery

Chopra felt weak for several days and did not understand what was causing it. Then he decided to check his

heart using Apple watches, whichgave it to his wife. The device showed that Chopra had clear signs of atrial fibrillation. However, the couple did not believe in the reliability of the gadget’s results and decided to repeat the procedure in a couple of days. But even then the Apple Watch showed a similar result. Chopra and his wife Nehu went to the hospital where they learned that Nitesh's main coronary artery was completely blocked.

Nitesh himself notes that until the last he did not believe inECG results that showed Apple Watch: “A young man about 30 years old cannot have such an arrhythmia. But the latest results have led us to believe that something is wrong with my heart and we should rush to the hospital. There I immediately did an ECG and its results were compared with what the clock showed. They were almost identical."

At the Niteshu hospital, an emergency angiography was performed, and then therapy began. Doctors managed to save the man's life.

Chopra's wife wrote to CEOApple thanks to Tim Cook for the Apple Watch's role in saving her husband's life: “We got to the hospital only thanks to your device, and my husband is fine and healthy now. I wish you much love and happiness."

Nitesh himself claims that his attitude towards the Apple Watch has changed: “I thought it was just a marketing strategy. But now, after the watch saved my life, I think differently.”
