Blizzard will remake Diablo 4 due to player criticism: two power levels, items and dungeons

Diablo 4 isn't out yet, but Blizzard has already decided to change some mechanics based on player feedback.

At BlizzCon 2019, visitors were not only toldabout the new “diablo”, but they also let me play the demo version. Ancient objects

Blizzard also decided to change “Ancient Items”.The developers noted that they did not have time to explain their purpose, but gamers raised questions that forced the team to reconsider their approach to the mechanics.

We should have done a better job of explaining the role of Ancient Items in Diablo 4. Progression system

Regarding the character development system,then the developers still haven’t decided whether to make it finite or endless. The team understands the advantages and disadvantages of both approaches, so they decided to kill two birds with one stone. It seems that the developers are planning to implement a basic leveling system with a finite level, as well as an infinite one. The first will be added to create a sense of completion for players, and the second will be added for users who want to dive deeper into the “endgame” by completing more complex tasks.

Source of power

A character's strength will depend on two factors.In a natural way, the character will become stronger as his own level increases, as well as the rank of skills and talents. In addition, the hero’s power will be affected by the equipment he wears.

Dungeons

The developers have already talked about the Locked Onesdungeons (Keyed Dungeons) during the broadcast at BlizzCon, but in the new material the designer clarified some points. The main part of the dungeons are real places in the world of Diablo 4. By finding the key, the character also receives information about the location, such as the monsters that are found there, events and the layout of the level itself.
