DxOMark finally rated the Oppo Reno 10x zoom camera: at the level of Huawei P30 Pro and the third place in the rating

In April, the Oppo Reno 10x zoom smartphone was introduced, but only now the specialists of the DxOMark laboratory

got to him to rate the camera.

How to shoot

Recall that the main camera of a smartphone has three cameras: the first 48 megapixel module, it is supplemented by a wide-angle 8 megapixel lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees and a 13 megapixel “telephoto” with a hybrid 10x zoom. It uses a periscope camera, like the Huawei P30 Pro, but it has a different sensor and higher resolution.

And judging by the DxOMark estimates, the Oppo Reno 10x zoom is stillnot lost relevance. The camera’s pluses included good detail, a flash, accurate white balance, fast autofocus and good stabilization when shooting video, etc.

Among the minuses are ghostly artifacts, instability of focusing at night, noises when using a wide-angle camera, insufficient color saturation, as well as noticeable artifacts, instability of autofocus and loss of detail in low light on the video.

As a result, Oppo Reno 10x zoom got 125 points for the photo and 100 for the video.
