DxOMark tested the Galaxy S20 Ultra camera: it is worse than the Huawei P40 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, OPPO Find X2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Two months after the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone, DxOMark specialists finally tested the camera

For photo capabilities, the device was given 132 points, andfor video quality - 102 points. Thus, the Galaxy S20 Ultra took 7th place in the ranking of the best camera phones with a final score of 122 points. It is ahead of Huawei P40 Pro (128), Honor 30 Pro+ (125), OPPO Find X2 Pro (124), Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (124) and even last year's Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G (123) and Honor V30 Pro (122). The interesting thing is that all of these devices cost less than $1,400 (the starting price tag of the Galaxy S20 Ultra).

In general, the smartphone camera takes good pictures.Experts noted a good dynamic range, low noise level in the daytime, excellent color rendition, and even said that the device has one of the best wide-angle modules on the market. But along with this, the Galaxy S20 Ultra experienced problems with autofocus and video quality at night.
