Epic Games Store has become friends with Humble Bundle and plans to improve Ubisoft games

The Epic Games Store continues to move in small steps towards a bright future and has received another major update.

Cloud save

Epic Games allowed to save progress in the cloudeven with the release of This War of Mine and Moonlighter. The developers promised that the feature would be implemented separately for each game, and two weeks later the list was replenished. In addition, new games that will be included in the Epic Games Store will receive the cloud save function at launch:

So far, cloud saves work for 17 games:

  • Alan Wake,
  • Close to the Sun
  • Darksiders III,
  • Enter the Gungeon,
  • Genesis Alpha One,
  • GNOG,
  • Hyper light drifter
  • Kingdom New Lands,
  • Limbo,
  • Moonlighter
  • Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden,
  • Overcooked
  • Rebel Galaxy Outlaw,
  • Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter,
  • The sinking city
  • This War Of Mine,
  • World War Z.

Friendship with Humble Bundle

The Humble Bundle marketplace often brings joydiscounts and free game giveaways, and now the HB library will be transferred to the Epic Games Store. The developers have added an account linking feature that allows you to buy games in the Humble Store for the epic store. Moreover, you don’t have to perform a separate product activation—the game will automatically appear in your library after purchase.

Plans

In future updates, Epic Games plansupdate the library design and optimize patches to reduce the weight of updates. Ubisoft projects will also receive a similar improvement. The company has already implemented technology in For Honor that reduces the weight of the game and installation time. In addition, in the near future there will be a counter that tracks the time spent in the game.
