Fortune notes that the Global 500 is fewhas decreased over the past year. The total revenue of the world's largest companies fell by 4.8% to $31.7 trillion, but the combined sales of the companies on the list still account for more than one-third of global GDP. It is also interesting that 135 companies on the list are from China, including Xiaomi.
