La liste a été compilée sur la base des critiques existantes, mais pas des évaluations des utilisateurs.

Le classement répertorie les jeux de la génération actuelle(oui, The Last of Us Part II est déjà dedans). Tous étaient des exclusivités pour Xbox One, PlayStation 4 ou Nintendo Switch. Certes, la liste contient également des jeux disponibles sur PC.
