Google, unexpectedly for everyone, announced a new version of the Wear OS system for smartwatches.

What is known

First of all, the new version will be based onAndroid 11. In comparison, the current build of Wear OS is still based on Android 9 Pie. In addition, the developers promised to simplify the process of connecting the watch to a smartphone, update the interface, change the weather widget in the Tile section, increase the work of CPU cores by 20% when opening applications, and improve LTE. Also with this update, Wear OS will bring support for the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Wear 4100+ processors.
