The backpack was created in collaboration with Yves Saint Laurent, but does not have a flashy design: it is strictly black, without unnecessary details, but made of high-quality materials.

The “brain” of the backpack is the Jacquard platform, whichprovides synchronization with a smartphone and other “smart” functions. More precisely, its updated version: now the platform has decreased in size and resembles an SD card. Data transfer occurs via the microUSB connector.

Jacquard is installed in the left shoulder strap of the backpack. As a result, you can call up Google Assistant and My Day to check the weather, news, and scheduled events.

In addition, there are gesture controls.Jacquard recognizes four gestures: up and down, double tap and long press. They can be customized through the Project Jacquard app (which, by the way, has also been updated).

Price
This backpack won’t come cheap—$995. But Google promises to continue to produce “smart” clothes, but at more affordable prices.
However, the issue of washing such a backpack remains unclear, because a $350 smart jacket could be washed only 10 times.
