Google Play significantly improved navigation

Google has carried out a major redesign of the Google Play store. The updated interface should significantly

Make it easier to find applications.

What changed

The new design is made in accordance with the latestGoogle Material Design style rules - it uses more light colors, animation elements, transitions and indents. Applications in the store are divided into tabs: “Games”, “Applications”, “Movies and TV” and “Books”. Music has been moved to the side menu.

The developers tried to give Google Play a more neat, premium look. All icons in the store have become rectangular and rounded at the edges, similar to the App Store.

In the near future, the update should automatically install for all Android users.
