Google Play significantly improved navigation

Google has conducted a major redesign of the Google Play store. The updated interface should significantly

facilitate the search for applications.

What changed

The new design is in accordance with the latestGoogle Material Design style guidelines - it uses more light colors, animation elements, transitions and indents. Applications in the store were divided into tabs: “Games”, “Applications”, “Films and TV” and “Books”. The music was moved to the side menu.

The developers tried to give Google Play a more neat, premium look. All the icons in the store became rectangular and rounded at the edges, similar to the App Store.

In the near future, the update should automatically install for all Android users.
