Images and details about the Google Nest Mini column were merged into the network on the eve of the official announcement

Apparently, it has already become a good tradition that information about new Google products is leaked long before the official

announcement. This year, the same thing happened with the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones, and now with the Google Nest Mini smart speaker.

What is it

This is an updated model of the Google Home Mini, which debuted in 2017. And it's still a tiny smart speaker with Google Assistant support.

According to rumors, it will be presented tomorrow at a Google presentation. But its images and characteristics are already on the Internet.

What have changed

At first glance, this is the same Google Home Mini.And it’s not surprising, because both the appearance and the dimensions are the same. The “round” of the speaker was tightly covered with fabric, and the speaker was made from recycled plastic. Diameter 98mm, height 42mm.

Unlike the previous model, the new one can be hung on the wall: there is a special mount at the back. The length of the USB cable is one and a half meters.

The speaker also received support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and Chromecast for audio playback.

The Google Nest Mini is expected to cost around €60. There will be several colors to choose from: black, grey, coral and blue.
