A new addition to the Ukrainian naval drone fleet is the Raccoon’s Revenge drone, named after that same Kherson raccoon

The UNITED24 platform reports about the pre-New Year replenishment of the Ukrainian maritime drone fleet. Money for a new one

The drone was assembled by guys from NAFO (North Atlantic Fella Organization), an online community that counters Russian propaganda and disinformation.

In total, more than 3 thousand contributions were made,in less than 2 months, $276,429 was collected. This money will be used to buy a personalized surface drone, called “Raccoon’s Revenge” (“Raccoon’s Revenge”). It is named after a raccoon, which the invaders stole from the Kherson zoo and is now shown on social networks as a mascot of Russian paratroopers. The Kherson raccoon has become the hero of numerous memes and a symbol of the absurdity of the Russian military, who steal everything from toilets to animals in Ukraine.

Collection for the creation of the world's first naval fleetdrones opened in November. In total, Ukraine wants to get 100 drones, but at the first stages they are raising money for 10 devices.
