Indonesian startup will start the delivery of goods by drones

At the first stage, Garuda Indonesia will purchase fiveunmanned aerial vehicles that will fly at an altitude of about 5 thousand meters. If the system is tested successfully, the fleet of UAVs will be expanded to 100 units, the company said.

The representative of the company refused to disclose the cost of carriage of goods on drones.

Earlier, the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued Alphabet a certificate to an airline startup company for the transportation of cargo by drones. This is the first such case in history.
