Instagram updated: no likes, but with donations and a new camera interface

At a conference for F8 developers, Facebook announced several innovations for the Instagram app.

What's new

First, Instagram has a new interface duringphoto and video. The post can now be created without leaving the camera mode. Below added scroll wheel modes, stickers and other effects. The new interface promises to launch in the next couple of weeks.

Secondly, they added a sticker to Stories.donations. As a result, users will be able to send money for the needs of a particular non-profit organization in one click. All money collected will be sent to this organization.

To take advantage of the new feature, you mustjust create a “story”, add a special donation sticker and indicate the organization. You can also add stickers, photos, captions, etc.

Third, Instagram intends to develop trade.inside his platform and added the ability to mark shoes, clothes, accessories and other products in the pictures. To make a purchase, you just need to click on the image and follow the link. This innovation will start testing next week.

In addition, as we wrote earlier, Instagram wantsremove the likes counter under the posts so that the users are concerned about the content itself, and not how many likes it will collect. The new interface will be tested in Canada.
