Apple has not promised any expense optimizationCharging in iOS 13. The company only guaranteed an accelerated launch of applications and many new features. In theory, the charge consumption for iOS 13 should be almost the same as for iOS 12.4.
The iAppleBytes blogger decided to check it out and spenttests by comparing iOS 13 Beta 7 with iOS 12.4 on iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. The seventh beta version of iOS 13 is now available, so there was plenty of time for optimizing the charge rate of the company.
Below you can watch the video with the tests.
- The iPhone 6s lasted 3 hours 17 minutes with iOS 12.4 and 3 hours 18 minutes with iOS 13 beta 7.
- The iPhone 7 lasted 3 hours 35 minutes with iOS 12.4 and 3 hours 30 minutes with iOS 13 beta 7.
- The iPhone 8 lasted 3 hours 25 minutes with both iOS 12.4 and iOS 13 beta 7.
All three models can work almostsame time with iOS 12.4 and iOS 13 beta 7. Most likely, the final version of iOS 13 will show even more pleasant results. Given the huge number of new features in iOS 13, it’s amazing that the charge rate has not become faster.
