Iran demonstrated several drones in exercises this week, including the Karrar. This was his debut.
What is known
Karrar is a combat unmanned aerial vehicleapparatus that can be used for reconnaissance. It is equipped with a Toloue-4 turbojet engine and weighs 400 kg. The maximum flight speed of the drone is 900 km/h, and the cruising speed is 700 km/h.

Karrar can act as a fighter.It has already been tested with Azaraksh air-to-air missiles, which are similar to the American AIM-9 Sidewinder. But the main feature of the drone is the six-barreled 7.62 mm Akhgar machine gun. It has an effective range of 1 km and can fire up to 6,000 rounds per minute. Naturally, the machine gun is also copied from the United States. Akhgar is a copy of the M134 Minigun.
The machine gun should help in the fight against enemy helicopters and planes. At the same time, Iran did not demonstrate the work of Akhgar during the flight. It is possible that the technology has not yet been completed.
