LG has announced a new tablet in its homeland - the LG G Pad 5. The new product is the successor to the LG G Pad 4, which

was shown back in 2017.

What is known

The device has a minimalistic design,metal body and 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution. It has a special light filter that reduces eye strain and a viewing angle of 173 degrees.


 


 


 


 

 

The tablet runs on an old flagship chipQualcomm Snapdragon 821 is paired with 4 GB RAM (LPDDR4) and 32 GB ROM (UFS 2.0). The built-in storage can be expanded with a memory card up to 512 GB. The device was also equipped with an 8200 mAh battery with a USB-C port and Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, a headphone jack, as well as an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera. The device has Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n/ac, GPS and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.


 


 


 


 

 

The novelty works on not the latest version of the Android 9 Pie OS. A proprietary shell is installed on top of it.
