Lithuania will give Ukraine Warmate kamikaze drones, they can fly at a speed of 150 km/h and destroy enemy equipment at a distance of up to 30 km

Lithuania plans to transfer 37 Warmate kamikaze drones to Ukraine.

This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to

Republic of Lithuania Piotr Beshta.Money for drones was raised as part of the Legion Of Boom initiative. The cost of kamikaze drones is 1,000,000 euros. Deliveries of devices should begin in October or November.

Warmate is a loitering ammunition of the PolishWM Group. The drone was created in 2012, but the popularity of the drone came only in 2020 after it demonstrated its effectiveness in the Karabakh war. Warmate has a wingspan of 1.6 m and weighs 5.7 kg. Loitering ammunition is launched from a small pneumatic catapult. The Warmate has a control range of 30 km and a top speed of 150 km/h.
