Last year, luxury electric car brand Polestar agreed to supply batteries to the manufacturer

Candela electronic boats.Now the company has shown the “fruits” of this deal - a new version of the C-8 pleasure boat. Thanks to the new equipment, it is capable of traveling 57 nautical miles (105.6 km) on a single charge.

The Polestar-powered version of the C-8 will replace the current 44kWh Candela production model when it goes into production this spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Electric hydrofoil boatdiffers in many ways from the current model. These include computer-controlled retractable C-Foil wings and a nacelle motor that allow her to “fly” above the surface of the water for a relatively quiet, efficient and smooth ride.

However, the internal layout is seriouslyredesigned to accommodate the same 69kWh battery module and DC fast charging technology. Five-door electric cars in the Polestar fastback style2 are equipped with the same.
