MediaTek is working on two flagship chips that will receive ARM Cortex-A78 cores

MediaTek has recently released many good processors, but in the top segment

the manufacturer still lags behind its competitors. However, this may change next year.

Information appeared online that MediaTekworking on two flagship processors at once. The first version of the SoC comes with the model number MT6839, while the second version is MT6891. If you believe the rumors, then the new products will be built using a 6 or even 5 nanometer process technology. In addition, the chips will boast high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 cores. Naturally, they will also receive 5G network support. Unfortunately, there are no other details about MediaTek’s new flagship SoCs yet.

When to expect

Presumably, new products will be announced at the end of this year. Perhaps they will become successors to the Dimensity 1000 and Dimensity 1000+ chips.
