Microsoft Adds Bing Chatbot Sidebar to Edge

Microsoft has released an update for Edge that brings a new sidebar that lets you quickly

access to the Bing chatbot. From the beginning, the feature was only available in versions for testers, but has now expanded to regular Windows and MacOS users.

What is known

Panel appears as a large Bing buttontop left in Microsoft Edge. When hovering over or clicking on it, a new chatbot window is activated. If you're a Bing preview member, you can use the chat feature to ask questions to the chatbot, or the text generation option to create text for emails, blog posts, letters, and the like.

The sidebar is based on the context of the page, you're currently viewing, so you can ask the bot to summarize what's written in an article, compare elements on a page, or let you choose from different tones to create text in blog posts, emails, bulleted lists, and the like.
