intend to develop digital vaccination passports that can be stored in wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Wallet.

The newly formed coalition was namedThe Vaccine Verification Initiative (VCI), reports CNBC. In addition to technology companies, it also includes the non-profit Mayo Clinic. Together, they intend to create a technology by which people can obtain an encrypted copy of their vaccination data.
