Microsoft is testing coding with voice on GitHub

The "Hellom GitHub" feature will be available in the Copilot tool for $10 per month.Copilot uses artificial intelligence to suggest the next possible lines or parts of code.Copilot can even offer complete methods and complex algorithms along with boilerplate code and unit testing assistance.Now it will also support voice encoding.

"With the power of your voice, we're excited to be able to bring the benefits of GitHub Copilot to even more developers, including developers who struggle to type by hand," explainsGitHub in today's blog post, "Hey GitHub!" is only reducingthe need for a keyboard when encoding in VS code, but we hope to extend its capabilities through further research and testing."

This feature will be especially useful for people with disabilities, so we hope to develop it in the future.
