VGC journalists spoke with Chris Grannell, who worked for Sony for 14 years, having a hand in Formula One, WipEout

According to Grannell, the developer communityIt was agreed that the machine that Microsoft put together is a beast compared to Sony's console. The speaker noted that the PlayStation 5 wins in terms of price-to-hardware ratio, but the Xbox Series X will provide more power.
“If you look at the throughput and[Xbox Series X] ray tracing capability, then you'll start to... understand why the developers say it's stunning. So you have the math and you start looking at the possibility of real-time ray tracing... that's where Sony was caught off guard," he said.
At the same time, Grannell noted that Sony can still attract the attention of gamers with games.
"You will still see absolutelyincredible work from Guerrilla Games, you will see incredible work from Insomniac - everything is as usual... You will see how Sony developers will learn to use Kraken (texture decompression technology - ed.) faster and more efficiently when they have access to Sony technologies, as they did with PlayStation 3"
Recall that the PlayStation 5 uses an 8-coreZen 2 Cores 3.5 GHz with Custom RDNA 2 GPU for 36 clusters with a capacity of 10.28 teraflops. Sony will release a console with 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM and a fast 825 GB SSD. Microsoft decided to install an 8-core AMD Zen 2 processor at 3.8 GHz and an RDNA 2 graphics processor with 52 clusters with a capacity of 12 teraflops in the Series X. 16 GB of RAM was also delivered. In terms of game storage, the Xbox Series X will feature a 1TB NVME SSD.
