Media reported that the Turkish military-industrial complex has begun serial production of ground-based unmanned aerial vehicles
This was announced at headquartersdefense products manufacturing company FNSS Defense Systems during an event with the participation of industry representatives. The head of the Defense Industry Directorate under the Presidential Administration, Ismail Demir, noted that Turkish companies have developed a whole line of unmanned ground vehicles. They differ from each other in size and load capacity.
According to Demir, the purpose of the defense industry is to providearmy with technological developments "allowing to minimize losses, remain invisible and cause maximum damage to the enemy." And one of these developments is lightly armored mini-tanks with cannons of up to 40 mm caliber and additional armament in the form of machine guns.
