Author of both parts of The Last of Us and Uncharted 4gave an interview to The New Yorker, in which he said that his new project would be similar in structure to the series. Neil Druckmann noted that for the first time in his career he did not deal with the script of the game alone, but gathered a team of scriptwriters around him.

It is not yet known what Druckmann and his studio are working on, but recently a reputable insider ViewerAnon reported that the third part of The Last of Us will be the next Naughty Dog game.
